About Lawrence

I started my law enforcement career with the Rumford Police Department in October of 2014. I attended and graduated the 29th Basic Law Enforcement Training Program at the Maine Criminal Justice Academy. I currently hold the position of Patrolman and K9 Handler with the Rumford Police Department. Over my time with the Rumford Police Department I have attended numerous law enforcement trainings in a variety of topics. My attendance to these courses eventually led to my desire to become a trainer. Once I became a trainer, my passion for training law enforcement officers and the community grew. I currently hold numerous certificates in different training programs.

In my law enforcement career, I have also had the opportunity to serve the areas surrounding Rumford as a Reserve Officer for the Dixfield Police Department and Mexico Police Department. I have also served as a constable for the Fryeburg Fair Police. As a K9 Handler, I have had the opportunity to work with Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force which ultimately led to becoming a sworn Oxford County Deputy Sheriff and Androscoggin County Deputy Sheriff.
